Privacy policy
This policy explains what data the Bike Jam game ("the game", "we") collects, why, and the choices you have. If you have a question, write to [email protected].
Data stored on your device
Your progress, scores, stars, achievements, hints, spare lives and settings are saved only on your phone. We do not run servers that receive this data, the game has no accounts, and we cannot see or recover your progress. Uninstalling the game, or using Me → Privacy and your data → Delete my data, removes it.
Advertising (Android)
The free Android version shows ads provided by Google AdMob: videos you can choose to watch for a reward (an extra life or hints), and an occasional full-screen ad between levels. To show ads, limit how often you see them, measure them and prevent fraud, Google may collect and process:
- device identifiers such as the advertising ID and app set ID;
- your IP address and approximate location derived from it;
- device and app information (model, operating system, language, app version);
- information about the ads shown to you and your interactions with them.
Google acts under its own privacy policy. You can read how Google uses data from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown. You can reset your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in your phone's settings at any time.
The iOS version, when released, will be covered by an update to this policy before it shows any ads.
Purchases
If in-app purchases (such as Remove ads) are offered, payments are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never receive your card or payment details; the store only tells the game which purchases you own.
What we do not do
- We do not ask for your name, email, contacts, photos or precise location.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use analytics or tracking tools of our own. If we add any (for example crash reports), this policy will be updated first.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Ads in the game are limited to content suitable for teens and older.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, and to object to or limit its use. Because the game keeps your progress only on your device, you can view and delete it yourself in the game. For data processed by Google for advertising, use your device's ad settings or Google's tools linked above. You can also contact us and we will help.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. Important changes will also be noted in the game's update notes.
